Memorial Day and Growing Babies
Todd and I decided to take the kids to see the Vietnam Veteran Moving Wall. It was at the Leavitt's Mortuary over the Memorial Weekend. It was very moving seeing all of the names of the men that sacrificed their lives for our freedom. I read about one young man, 19 years old, just graduated from Ogden High in 1958 that was killed standing guard just months after going to Vietnam. There were too many other stories like that one. I am grateful to live in a free country and also to have brave men and women who sacrifice for what we have today.

4 New Babies are Here!!!!!
This is Connor's Self Portrait, one of his art projects.
Todd and I have no idea where they get their
artistic abilities except maybe they skipped a generation.
He did a great job!
fuzzy baby bird bodies in there. We have to be really
tricky taking the picture, trying not to touch the tree or the nest!!!

Enjoying the Last Day of Preschool
It started out to be cloudy, but by the time noon came the sun was out and it was the perfect day for playing outside. They enjoyed this last day of preschool. We have graduation on May 27th. She is growing up. Whether we're ready or not!

Wahlquist Spring Concert

Last night Todd and I enjoyed great music at the Wahlquist Spring Concert. It was their last concert of the year and it was SOOOO nice. It was at the Ogden Amphitheater. We had an upfront seat and enjoyed every minute of the show. This is Parker and his friend Joey. They are like two peas in a pod. Both good kids and both are going to be in the Eagle Choir next year. Hurray!!! I love it!!! While at the concert last night we experienced a Susan Boyle moment, when an 8th grade girl that we have known for years got up and BELTED out a solo from one of the songs. After she finished there was an eruption from the crowd which we are asked not to do until the end. It was truly amazing. Good for her.
Enjoy one of Parkers numbers!!!!

Lilacs
Lilacs are one of my favorite spring flowers. Ours are in full bloom right now. These are right underneath my bedroom window. To bad I can't smell them! Every time I see lilacs I think of my Grandma Blanche. They were her favorite. She passed away when I was 5. I remember my grandpa cutting fresh lilacs on Memorial Day to decorate grandmas grave. I can't wait to see her again. I have so much I'd like to ask her. Sunday, May 10, 2009
Happy Birthday Grandpa, Happy Mothers Day and 4 Babies
We had a good day. No calls! With 2000 missionaries at the MTC, I didn't get my hopes up for a call from my Hermono's Missionaries. They have a hard time getting 30 minutes a week on the computer so 2000 Elders and Sisters trying to make a call home in one day would be impossible. I got a nice card with sweet words that made me cry. I'm grateful for the ones still at home. I've decided and I am reminded every day that I have great kids and a great husband. We certainly aren't perfect but what fun would that be?
We celebrated Grandpa Robby's birthday on Saturday. I was a good day for a party. We missed those who couldn't make it. It's always good to see the ones you love!

Wild Sunday Storm
On Sunday we watched this storm come from the west over the mountains and right over us. It was as calm as can be and then within 5 minutes we were being pelted with hailstones. Mother nature was showing us her power. Wow!! Crazy. I'll echo Quincys words, "I sure am glad we have a house to live in!!!".
