Parker and Connor caught this little garter snake in our back yard this week. I'm not terribly afraid of snakes unless they are shoved in my face and guess what Connor does, Yes, you guessed it. They finally let him go in the garden. "Snakes and Snails and Puppy dog tails - That's what little (and BIG) boys are made of!!"

Fathers Day!
Todd had a happy Father's Day. His parents came up and had lunch and were here for Connors ordination to be a Priest. It was a nice day. I am grateful for all the fathers in my life. For my father who taught me to love, work and play. For Todd's dad who did the same for him, and for the father of my little family. He takes good care of us and we love him. Happy Father's Day Todd! We love You!!!

New Pics from Austin
Here are a few new pictures from Austin. They had a mix up at the Mission office making it so he has had NO MAIL from home for 3 weeks or more. We have been getting letters back and thought that a call to the Mission office would fix it, but NO. So I made a second call. I'm hoping that we are all fixed up now! He is still in good spirits though. By the time all the mail catches up to him he will have a novel to read.

Our Week
Todd, Parker and Connor got started on Quincy's playhouse. They worked all day Saturday, in the rain, and got the floor done and 3 walls put up. Quincy is quite excited to see the progress!

Our Weekend
Bennett Update!!!
We talked to the Dr. Kimball on Friday. He said that Bennett was clear to go serve the Lord. He has something called congenital loose shoulders. Which means he inherited them from his dear ol' dad. He is to stay away from mean games of 4 square and other crazy activities that cause his shoulder to slide out. Thank you for all the prayers in Bennett's behalf. We appreciate all of the support!!
Then on Saturday morning the nest was empty.
Saturday afternoon we found 2 of the four babies.
They were in two different trees.
The mother bird was still feeding them as they hopped and fluttered from branch to branch.
It made me think of my fledglings as they try out their wings. I still want to take care of them and make sure they are safe, but they have to keep trying their wings until they are able to take off on their own. We have loved watching this little family as they hatched from 4 little, greenish, blue eggs and grew to birds in flight. What a fun learning experience.
A day of fishing at Blacksmiths Fork.
It was cold and windy but when the sun came out it was bearable.
As you can see we were quite successful.
Parker caught 7 and released 2.
Connor caught 3 - 2 on his fly pole. He released 2.
Todd caught 1 on Quincy's princess pole.
Quincy and I were in the car getting warm!
We took them home and cooked them over the fire.
I've never considered myself a fresh fish lover, but these were very good.
Quincy loves fish too.
Connor caught these Tuesday, June 2 with his buddy, Lenard.
