A Week Of Celebration

This week is full of celebrations for our family. Austin and Bennett turn 19 on the 20Th. Parker turns 14 on the 22ND and Todd and I celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary on the 22ND. What a week. We have a hard time eating that much cake. Here they are in all their musical glory. It's the next great garage band. If only you could hear. They are teaching Quincy to play a little.
Happy Birthday Boys!
Where does time go!
It seems like yesterday that you were babies.

Jack Frost

I'm sure this isn't a new thing for any of you but, when I let Hannah out this morning I was reminded how beautiful our world is. This is our screen door in the back that had been left open so Jack Frost decided to paint it for us. I hurried Quincy out of the shower to see his art work. As we left for church just before 9 am we were again drawn in by the beauty of the frosty morning as we discovered the frozen moisture in the air glinting against the rising sun. It seemed that the angels were sprinkling glitter from the sky. Truly Amazing!

A part of our life!

Connor had several hockey games this weekend. They don't have a set goalie so they usually rotate to whoever wants to do it. That's means a lot of work for the defense and usually more goals scored against us. Saturday, we had no goalie, one ref, and only 8 players. The kids were so tired. I had my camera and wanted to share some of the action. Connor mixed it up a few times and sat in the penalty box a little (along with several others) but it is fun to watch them work together and learn. We are going on about 10 years of hockey. We have at least 4 left!
Connor is #3.
Connor is the one in front, closest to the net defending the goal.

You can tell I'm not to good with the camera. But I'll keep trying!

Let It Snow!!!!!

It started snowing today about 10:30 this morning. The kids were in school, Todd, Austin and Bennett are at work and Quincy had preschool at 12:30. No big deal. I dropped Quincy off and all I heard from the mothers was "Who ordered this? I'm done with this. I hate snow." And so on... I wish I had the guts to say what I think sometimes. For instance. "We live in Utah, remember! or I want a green lawn and water for my garden in the summer." It drives me crazy with all of the complaining. When I went to pick Quincy up there was more complaining. "I don't have any boots. My feet are wet. I hate snow, why can't it stop." And that is just from the mothers. It's winter in Utah, HELLO. Lets hope it never changes!!! By the way we got the 5 inches forcast and more is on the way.
